Purus HST is proud to announce that HST Hudson will be continuing on her current site with Otary on a long term commitment in the North Sea.
In order to assist Otary with its emission reduction journey, we will also be installing an SCR IMO Tier III system on to the HST Hudson once on project. This will reduce the NOx and SOx in the vessel exhaust gases for cleaner, more efficient propulsion.
Mr Tom Nevin, CEO (Wind Division of Purus) Wind stated that,
“We are extremely happy to be continuing our long-term relationship with Otary, managing to offer a solution with the HST Hudson where we are seeing real time NOx and SOx reductions, along with our current fuel usage reduction solutions.
I would like to thank our offshore and onshore teams and Otary for their cooperation in securing this contract.”
Mr. Mathias Verkest – CEO of Otary RS NV said “As a pioneer in the energy transition, we are pleased to add to a greener supply chain and further reduce emissions of NOx, SOx.
Therefore we are extremely happy to have found a trusted partner who shares the same vision and offers us solutions to reach our challenging ambitions. There is no planet B!”
Thank you to all who contributed to finalising these contracts and to Otary for continuing our partnership on this project. We would also like to thank our vessel crews for their fantastic work offshore and helping optimise our operations. We look forward to furthering our strong working relationship with the site teams and Otary moving onwards.
